Many customers only want to apply discounts to particular items. This can be done via a 'Menu Item Filter'. Below details how to configure a discount for only specific items.

Process

Step 1: Configure Menu Item Filter

• Navigate to Menu>Menu Items>Find
• Create a new Menu Item Filter that includes the items you want to include in the discount
• Select Save
• Select Find to make sure the Filter is configured properly
• The Items selected should display in the Menu Items Database  
• Select Save and Close

Step 2: Configure Discount

• Navigate to Order Entry>Discounts
• Configure Discount parameters
• Application Items=Menu Item Filter created above
• Select Save and Close

Step 3: Add Discount to Loyalty Package or Canvas
